Perlage

Applying 'perlage' circular decoration pattern on the movement holder. I use rubber abrasive #120. A diameter of the tip is about 2.5mm.

From edge to center. I turned it two times.

I must finish the surface of the brass up more smoothly before patterning...

Screwed it to the main case.

Inner movement holder

Threading three M0.9 screw holes. At every 120 angles.

Done.

On the opposite side, opened two 1.0mm holes. For fixing this holder to the main case.

Test piece of the case

This is made of four parts. Case diameter is 42mm.

Six inner threaded shafts penetrates bezel and main case.

Then attach caseback and fit with six M1.0 screws. I think that it is easy adjust the thickness of the case by making such a structure.

Cutting slot

This is inner threaded shafts going through main case. Screw thread is M1.0.
I made a cut of 0.4mm thick and 0.5mm deapth in the head of shaft.

For the next product

I am trying to make test product. These case parts were made from aluminium alloy and brass. Dia is 42mm. The real product will be made with stainless steel.

This is expanding collet witch I made. For holding work at lathe. I will make some other sizes.

Bezel, caseback and crown are polished partly.
